I am part of the interdisciplinary industrial and communication design team redesigning the new orientation system of the ABK Campus Killesberg.
The diversity of the ABK Campus is the basis for the design of the carrier elements. Diversity is interpreted as a casual gesture of „throw-over“. The form of the throw-over brings the flexible and agile character of the ABK into a striking design language.
The design feature of the „throw-over“ is transferred to the entire system of information carriers. A minimalist design language enables a distinct positioning on the entire campus. So the curved elements fit smoothly into existing architectural structures.
