The design is based on the fascination for broken surfaces and their rhythm.
The stool Curve consists of two minimal elements. The frame, welded from a metal strip, sketches a substructure and forms the frame for the milled seat. The design of the relieved seat surface invites tactile self-perception and heightens awareness of sitting.
How do we interact with objects?
Self-perception through tactility?
How do surfaces differentiate themselves from each other?
