about

kathrin alischer

I am an industrial and spatial designer working in interdisciplinary contexts, leading creative design for brands focused on materials in interior architecture.

I interweave cultural material practices with sensory qualities. With a hands-on, strategic approach and close collaboration with workshops, I create artefacts that foster dialogue and drive design development.

“Kathrin is a positive, forward thinking individual with a great knowledge of design field. She is driven to understand how people behave, what are their needs and how design solutions can challenge or make better life for them.”

Tiina Aarras, Colour and Material Designer in Residence, Sensorial and Experience Led Design Specialist.
